Portugal's most expensive streets revealed
The Quinta do Lago urbanisation in the Algarve and Rua Garret in Lisbon lead the ranking of the most expensive streets in the country.
The most expensive street in Portugal is in the Quinta do Lago urbanisation in Almancil (Algarve). Here, buying a house costs an average of 7,636,765 euros.
In second place on this list of luxury homes is Rua Garret, in Lisbon, with an average price of 4,062,154 euros.
But the highest concentration is in Cascais, home to five of the ten streets in Idealista’s ranking, all with a price tag of over 2.8 million euros.
The most expensive street in Cascais - and the third most expensive on the list - is Rua Birre, with an average price of 3,931,059 euros.
This is followed by Avenida Marginal, in the parish of Cascais and Estoril (3,622,688 euros), Avenida da República (2,897,308 euros), Rua GlicÃnias (2,850,000 euros) and Rua das Codornizes (2,830,333 euros).
In addition to Quinta do Lago, another Algarve urbanisation appears in this ranking: Quinta do Monte Funchal, in Lagos, where a house costs an average of 3,250,000 euros. Rua de Buenos Aires, in Lisbon (in the Estrela area), occupies 6th place, with an average price of 3,170,357 euros.
The ranking closes with Rua dos GladÃolos, in Charneca da Caparica, where the average house price is 2,706,818 euros.
