Boom Festival unveils line-up for sold-out July edition
Tickets were sold in 169 countries, reflecting Boom’s status as a leading independent, eco-conscious festival on the global stage.
The Boom Festival, set to return from July 17 to 24 on the banks of the Marechal Carmona Dam in Idanha-a-Nova, has revealed its 2025 line-up.
With all 40,000 tickets sold out since October, months before the program was even announced, the 15th edition of the globally acclaimed event will be held under the theme "The Dance Ritual."
Among the Portuguese acts confirmed are Bateu Matou, Miramar (Frankie Chavez & Peixe), Batida, João Gomes, Monogatari (Gabriel Gomes), and Rui Vargas & Zé Salvador. International artists include DJ Atmos (Sweden), FutureMoon (Germany), Anoebis (Belgium), and Anakirk (Finland).
Celebrated for its holistic approach, Boom combines electronic and world music with a diverse program of lectures, workshops, animation cinema, meditation areas, gastronomy, and art installations.
This year’s visual identity was designed by digital visionary Android Jones, with additional contributions from Halfstudio and light-art collective Ocubo.
Coinciding with Portugal’s April 25 Revolution celebrations, the festival emphasizes cultural freedom and planetary consciousness.
Organized without corporate sponsorship, Boom maintains a strong environmental focus, limiting ticket numbers to preserve its 150-hectare natural setting and investing in sustainability measures to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
